Innovation, Science and Technology
HAL has been given the opportunity to support the Innovation, Science and Technology division of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada to develop an in-depth analysis and country profiles of 22 countries.
In support of departmental activities and goals, the Innovation, Science and Technology division of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada has been developing profiles of 22 countries that detail the structure of the science system for each country, key actors and programs, basic S&T performance indicators and opportunities for Canadian companies. These profiles are to provide the basis for an analytical report that structures, synthesizes and compares information from the profiles around key themes.
HAL has been asked to prepare a report that provides both an in-depth analysis and an update of existing country profiles. The overall objective of the proposed work is to provide an up-to-date foundational document that can ultimately be used as an interactive information product for use across the department and which is in line with the overall thrust of its Global Innovation Strategy.
