National Research Council
HAL has been asked by NRC to assist in the evaluation of the Institute for Aerospace Research (IAR) by preparing a framework and a set of 10 “Project Impact Profiles” that will provide a better understanding of the ultimate impacts of the IAR research programs.

South East Local Health Integration Network
HAL has been asked by the South East Local Health Integration Network to develop a consensus mapping of future directions and priorities for regional diabetes management. This work will be done in cooperation with the Queen’s University Executive Decision Centre and use Group Decision Support System (GDSS) technology
7898 Phase 4 Evaluation
Precarn
HAL has been asked to conduct a comprehensive review of Precarn’s Phase 4 Research Program. Phase 4 is based on a Funding Agreement between Industry Canada and Precarn that provides a grant of $20 million for a pre-competitive research program in intelligent systems. Within the main program, Precarn supports a number of sub-programs including a National Large and Small Business program, Regional Alliance programs, the Alberta program and the Automotive program.
