HAL is working with C-Core and the Department of National Defence to assess the reliance of the general Canadian public on Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) services (commercial and civilian applications only, not military), potential vulnerabilities in GNSS, and how disruption of the services might impact users, and finally to develop a plan to mitigate or manage risks to GNSS services.
